This month is just flying by, not so long ago I said I wasn’t ready for it to be December, and here it is SIX days before Christmas.
I am ready for it to all be over. Working retail sucks the joy of Christmas out of me. I am over the decorations, I love decorations, one of my favorite parts of Christmas, but they’ve been out in the store since the day after Halloween. Done. I am ready to move on to 2013! Kovu wanted to make sure he was represented on the tree!
I am on my 2nd day of 6 days of work, with only 12/24 off before Christmas. Oh, and I work Christmas Day from 9am-6pm, and then back again the morning after. I don’t think cookies will be baked, or much more decorating will be done. Thankfully shopping for our family it not too time consuming. Tara got her big gift, a new laptop early, so it’s just little stuff
Tara has been sick for over a week now. Started with a fever, now it is a nasty cold. She just has no energy. We tested for strep yesterday. I think we rushed her back to school last week. She’s on her 2nd missed day this week today.
We haven’t been out to look at Christmas lights this year. One of the things we enjoy is taking an evening drive to check out the lights and decorations. By the end of the work day, I am ready to just be home. This is William Penn Inn, near Lansdale. It always looks beautiful!
Tara has a concert on Sunday in Philly. I spent a little time shopping on South Street, but most of the time was spent in my car watching movies. Below is a picture of me, in the car! No more concerts until the beginning of February!
The weather has been strange. For the most part warm for December. Maybe a little snow will get me in the Christmas mood?

That’s a kewl Christmas Ornament! I love the William Penn Inn (it’s one of my Mom’s favorite places!)
