Tara and I have been to TWO movies in seven days! In the past that was the norm, but with rising prices (unless we can make a matinee) and Tara’s obsessive interest in music (and the bands she loves) we don’t often spend money on movies anymore. Tara looks at it like one movie for the both of us (especially if we get a snack) is the price of a CONCERT ticket for her! (Luckily the bands she follows have reasonably priced tickets… you don’t get to sit, but for the teens that the fun of it all!)

I have to say that I certainly enjoyed our movie adventures these past two weekends. It was like “old times” for us! We even mentioned Saturday with the warm weather that it almost seemed like we were leaving our favorite movie multiplex at Waterford Lakes Town Center!

Monday’s Music Makes Me Move’s theme for this week is movie theme songs, let’s see what I can come up with!

I honestly don’t know why this was the VERY FIRST song that popped into my head, so I have to use it!

I love Pirates of the Caribbean and Johnny Depp! It also reminds me of The POTC ride at Magic Kingdom… which I’ve been a little “home sick” for! We moved from Orlando 3 years ago this month!

Not really the theme song I don’t think, but this is Time for Miracles from “2012″ sung by Adam Lambert (and I love Adam and this song!) Beautiful lyrics! It’s long… but if you don’t know the song, please listen to a little of it!

and I leave you with Hakuna Matata from Lion King… again not specifically the theme song, but one very much known from the movie!
