Monday’s Music Moves Me is all about SILLY SONGS today – you know, I had a hard time thinking of silly songs from the past…. The two parodies made me laugh!
Snoppy vs the Red Baron – Royal Guardsmen – I LOVED this song when I was a kid!
The Streak – Ray Stevens – this was from 1974, and I still remember having a “streaker” run across the field at my high school…
This is a parody of Call Me Maybe… it made me laugh!
Hungry (Parody of Bubbly by Colbie Caillat) – TOO SILLY!
Hopefully I will be laughing later today. I’m heading to Ocean City NJ for the day with my mother, daughter, friend and great nephew. (Two 15 year olds and an almost 17 year old). My mother’s patience has been short lately, and she doesn’t get teen age humor. From past experience road trips with Tara and Tyler never end well. Whether they are 5 and 7 or 15 and 17, they still fight like little kids sometimes. They grew up close like brother and sister…
My brother, who lives in Austin, is on vacation in Ocean City along my sister-in-Law and niece. His son (my nephew) and his wife and two of my other great nephews will be there as well. This is they only reason I am combining a trip down the shore with my mother and teenagers at the same time!
Make it a great day!
Martha

Snoopy and the Red Baron is one of my all time favorite songs! Did you know that Charles Shultz didn’t like the song when it came out?
