It’s August 1st? Where has the summer gone? I don’t feel like we have done anything summer like this year. I’m busy working, Tara is busy sleeping, and the days just keep flying by. I really need to plan a trip to down the shore for at least one day!
Monday Music Makes Me Move is a good way to start out the week. I need music to get me going this morning. Working close/open shifts at work (leave at 10:30pm, back at work by 8am) make me feel like I have no time at home! I am dawdling this morning!
When I am in the car alone, I get to listen to the music I want to and my choice is classic rock on Philly station 102.9 WMGK. I have a hard time picking a favorite song, I guess I don’t have THAT one song that connects me with a significant other or reminds me of a special event. I do however have many songs that bring back good memories of times gone by.
Dan Fogelberg was one of my favorites when I was in college – yeah, yeah, I’m old. I always loved this song! I spent many hours listening to his albums (yes I said albums, those round black things that spun on a turntable) in my dorm room!
